Paladin - Basic Class Empty
PostSubject: Paladin - Basic Class   Paladin - Basic Class EmptyThu Feb 02, 2012 9:33 pm

As listed here http://paizo.com/pathfinderRPG/prd/classes/paladin.html#_paladin with certain exceptions.

Base Attack Bonus does not grant extra attacks. Instead, Paladins add their Base Attack Bonus to damage. They receive one attack per round.

Paladins are not limited to Lawful Good. Instead, they must share the same alignment as their chosen deity(see the List of Deities in the Rules section of the forum for information on deities.)

Smite:
Good-aligned Paladins smite evil.
Evil-aligned Paladins smite good.
Lawful Neutral-aligned Paladins smite chaos.
Chaotic Neutral-aligned Paladins smite law.
True Neutral-aligned Paladins do not exist; true neutral deities do not care enough to have Paladins.

Channel Energy:
Evil-aligned Paladins channel negative energy.
LN and CN-aligned Paladins can channel both positive and negative energy. As a free action, they declare which type of energy they're channeling. They cannot change the energy-type mid-channel, however.

Spellcasting:
Evil-aligned Paladins prepare the corresponding necromantic or evil versions of Spells found in the Paladin spellbook.
LN and CN-aligned Paladins may prepare either good or evil versions of the Spells found in the Paladin spellbook.

Code of Conduct:
Paladins follow the Code of Conduct set by their church. Failure to adhere to the tenets of their religion or shifts in alignment cause Paladins
to lose any class features except proficiencies.

Lay on Hands:
Evil-aligned Paladins cause harm with their Lay on Hands ability.
LN or CN-aligned Paladins must state whether they are harming or helping when using Lay on Hands.

Mercy:
Evil-aligned Paladins -cause- the afflictions Mercy would ordinarily cure.
LN or CN-aligned Paladins must state whether they are harming or helping when using Mercies.
